BIS had a gift giving program last Dec 15. Preschool students brought 12 gifts to be given to their buddy from different school. When I was in elementary we also had something like this, we call it kapatiran. We would go to a public school and our classes would be merged. Then we would have a program, share food and give tokens.

It's nice to expose kids to different walks of life. Their young minds may not be able to fully grasp the concept but it will truly help in instilling values such as sharing, humility and camaraderie and most of all the true meaning of christmas, that is giving.

I have been so busy lately and i wasn’t able to update my blog. Neo is now 7 months old and Nathan, my nursery had so many activities at school. I don’t know where to start, since i haven’t posted about the Halloween party/ies, English Month, Planting activity, Lantern making, Bazaar at Sophia Bellevue, Christmas party and Fiesta at Earnshaw. I wasn’t able to update you with Neo’s milestones but hopefully I can post everything before the year ends. Here is the latest picture of my precious gifts.

For school kids, it is but normal to look up to their teachers. Teachers are always correct and the most beautiful aside from mommy. My Nathan is on that stage now, he adores a prep teacher. He would always fix his hair and behave well whenever teacher chesca is around. One time as we were heading home, he asked our driver, "kuya, sa’n ba nakatira si teacher chesca?" Hahaha, ang aga manligaw!!! I asked him , "magdadala ka ba ng flowers pag binisita mo si teacher?" He answered, “No, food ang dadalhin ko, like chocolates, cake!"

Days after that incident, Nathan was at the basketball court when teacher passed by and waved at him, kumindat bigla si Nathan at nag thumbs up sign! He looks like a binatang basketball player na feeling heartthrob! Hahahaha!

Dear Nathan, you’re only 50 months old yet you already know how to appreciate beauty and show adoration, you already know how to put your best foot forward, i’m not sure if that’s good or not, all i can say now is you’re just too young and seeing teacher’s effect on your behavior just makes my heart smile.

We attended two parties last Halloween. 1st was here at Sophia Bellevue and 2nd was at my sister’s place. Nathan and Neo went as Genie and Penguin at Sophia Bellevue’s party which also happens to be the acquaintance party of our community. There were lots of goodies, games and of course there's a photobooth.

Today we celebrated United Nation’s Day at Benedictine International School. Nursery level was asked to wear China costume. We were asked to be at school by 9AM, so we were there by 9. The program started thirty past ten, so imagine most of the kids were already throwing tantrums. With that, Nursery’s representative, Mr China, was no longer on the mood to participate and join the parade and contest. So Nursery had an instant representative, my son.

I asked him if he could hold the flag, go to the stage and introduce himself, he said it’s okay. Teacher felt so relieved when Nathan agreed. He also did well in the talent portion, he danced and sang. With regards to Q&A, teacher dictated the answer, anyway, ‘di naman niya naintindihan talaga. Job well done for on the spot contest, anak!

Congrats again my dearest Nathan for being instant Mr. China, mommy is so proud of you! I Love you!

I am posting update and pictures of the cutest baby on earth before he turns 5 months next week.

Neo's favorite song now is I am but a small voice. The song has a magic effect on him, as soon as he hears it, he'll keep quiet and listen intently. We were able to take him in Bataan, Cavite and Laguna. Soon we will let him feel the sand. :)

Typhoon Pedring in Manila

We are fortunate to be safe and warm at home. Though we experienced power interruption from morning til 4 in the afternoon, we are still all good. Jon went out to get KFC bucket meal to make sure we have food til dinner. Apparently, Tandang Sora road (between katipunan and commonwealth) had been closed in the morning because of a fallen tree that blocked the road.

We are situated at the ground floor, so we cannot really feel Typhoon Pedring. I brought Nathan at the lobby so he could hear and see what happens whenever there is typhoon. There we felt the strong winds while listening to the pouring rain.

When power was back, we were really in great shock to see on news what Typhoon Pedring did in Manila, particularly at Roxas Boulevard. A sea wall at Manila Bay collapsed causing flood at Sofitel, hotel guests were already evacuated to a safer location, as reported.

Neo had his first turnover from tummy to back last September. i don't actually know the exact date, but this happened days or a week after he turned 4 months.

20-25 years from now, Nathan will have his own family, as early as now i am praying that i may accept his wife and never be an intruder to their lives, may i love his wife like a daughter and never say mean things to her, may i respect her home and privacy so she will never be thinking about staying away from me. May Nathan have a beautiful wife-pretty, well mannered, educated and God fearing, and please let me mature gracefully and beautifully so i will never feel insecure.

My dearest Nathan,

You are now 4 years old, and I am so glad for the person you have become. You know how to pray, you value your family and friends and you do well at school, you have such a brilliant mind and you look just like your dad, the resemblance is so strong that i can’t help but laugh whenever i see you both from afar. You are like his shadow, you took his mannerisms and his patience, and with that I really have to thank God. You are just four years old, i know you don’t mean it when you say nasty things to mommy, it’s just your way of expressing your independence and frustration. I know you don’t intend to hurt me, your brother or anyone around you, but at this early age, i must discipline you, otherwise you will never know what is right from wrong. Let me kiss you and hug you every time i feel like expressing my adoration for you. Let me give you a bath, even if you can do it yourself. Let me embrace you while you sleep while we still sleep in the same room. Let us wear coordinated clothes. Let mommy protect you against cruelties of life while i still can. Let’s take pictures and videos, let’s capture precious moments, so when the time comes and mommy is no longer here, you can always look back and see how much fun we had.

At 4 years old, you are already a big brother, you instantly became mommy’s little assistant. Thank you for looking after your brother, thank you for being a proud kuya, thank you for finding ways to make him stop crying. Thank you for singing moon river. Thank you for always thinking about him, you always want to buy a plush version of your toy so your brother can also play. There are times when you want daddy and mommy’s attention to be yours only, i know you are still adjusting but always remember, We love you as much as we love your brother, and you are very lucky, because for 3 years and 8 months you’ve had our undivided attention which your brother will never experience.

At 4 years old, you are developing attitude, please never abuse the power of your tears to get whatever you want. Daddy and mommy will provide and give everything if it will make you a better person. Never look down on people, a simple greeting and smile can definitely make a day brighter. Always remember to be good, to study hard and continue dreaming.

Students from nursery to level 10 were all gathered for the awarding ceremony, i thought it was only for the preschool department. I brought a camera that has no battery, so i ended up using my phone, Jonathan had an emergency to attend to, he was late and not able to witness the ceremony.

While they were rehearsing, Nathan doesn't want to march, so i immediately went to the canteen and bought the magic pill - MENTOS.

My son got all 6 academic awards. I am proud of you Nathan! I love you! Mommy will buy more mentos for you!

Buwan ng Wika

Last January 15, 1997, Pres. Fidel V. Ramos issued Proclamation No. 1041 declaring the whole month of August as “Buwan ng Wika”. Since then, It became a tradition at schools and offices to wear Filipiniana during August.

Self Esteem Booster

Simple chores can actually help build self esteem. So if Nathan wants to “help”, i allow him even if it means spending more time at a single chore. Each finished chore becomes his accomplishment, and a simple chore accomplished each day helps build his self confidence.

Nathan being the big brother helps set the dining table, wipes the table, sweeps and mops the floor, helps in carrying out trash, (re)folds his clothes, packs away his toys.At an early age of 3, i already taught him how to pack away his toys, i bought plastic boxes where he can put his toys, one box per type of toy. Then I noticed that he became OC-OC in terms of keeping his toys, so I kept the boxes away and provided a big basket. I want him to enjoy his toys not the activity of organizing it. When we first moved to our unit, i assigned a cabinet for his toys, he kept it neat but his fingers might get pinched so i again gave him a big basket and suddenly his toys were all over the place, so i decided to hide everything until he promise to keep the toys where it should be and play it properly. He’s been throwing everything like a Frisbee and ball.

Now, as part of disciplining, we’ll be implementing the colored box rule. I know he’s getting confused with my rules, but I know those changes will be healthier for all of us. I have already accepted that organized, mess-free homes are only for those who doesn’t have kids at home, but who wouldn’t want an organized one once in a while? Good luck to us.

Teething at 3 months & 3 weeks.

Neo is my second baby, but that doesn’t make me an expert yet. I still panic whenever he cries. Two weeks ago, I brought him to his pediatrician because of colds. His doctor just prescribed salinase. I am actually afraid of asthma, that’s why I brought him immediately. Only now did I realize that Neo was actually teething!!! He’s been drooling, had runny nose, and I noticed his biting already .

According to babycenter.com, “the vast majority of babies sprout their first teeth when they're between 4 and 7 months of age. An early developer may get his first white cap as early as 3 months, while a late bloomer may have to wait until he's a year old or more. (In rare cases, a baby's first tooth is already visible at birth.)”

Now I need to buy a teething ring and place wash clothes inside the ref to help soothe Neo’s discomfort.

Preschoolers have wonderful artistic talents, particularly when it comes to doodling on wall, floor or mirrors. Lipstick, nail polish, make-up creams, markers should be kept well out of reach. Any pen with ink that is not easily and instantly washable must be kept under tightest security. But because i let him keep his crayola, look what happened to our wall.

I asked him to clean the wall with water and soap, but nothing happened. We just had our wall repainted.

Doodling promotes early literacy; it is one of the first steps in writing and reading. Preschoolers love to doodle; it is one way of expressing and asserting their independence. They would discover that lines and symbols can represent their favorite things. They have little control over their actions and at first their doodling may seem nothing. However, as their motor skills develop and they can hold a crayon or pen better, their doodling becomes more recognized, their strokes will be more defined, soon you’ll see lines and circles. As their perception broadens, they start to see images in their drawings, yes, the only one who can understand it is they themselves. Each shape would represent a thing. Never laugh or show disinterest on their work because this is most important to them, they now connect their drawings with images and thoughts, it’s better if we let them explain their drawings, in that way, we can better appreciate their work.

Four months later, my little boy did the most hilarious thing

When I saw what my soon to be 4 yr old son did to our floor, i couldn’t help but laugh. He misses MR SUN and people at earnshaw so much!!!

Encouragement is the key for fast development. Provide writing and drawing materials, words of admiration can really be a booster for them to continue practicing. They may doodle on walls, floor, newspaper, books, wherever, but then again it is their way of expressing themselves. Talk gently and speak softly so they may not be disheartened.

Nathan aced his first quarter exams. I got the scores today, Perfect Score for Language (45), Reading (40) and Science (50) , 1 mistake in Math (44/45). He did well, but what really amazed me was how fast he took his exams (less than 30 minutes). Last Friday, he was home before 10:30, he finished early and wants to go to Loly’s house agad agad agad!

Healing Mass at Monte Maria

Last Sunday we left Manila at eight in the morning and were able to attend the ten o’ clock mass at Monte Maria. Monte Maria is situated in Barangay Amuyong in Alfonso Cavite, a few kilometers past the Tagaytay-Cavite boundary. The temporary chapel is covered with a sturdy prefabricated metal roofing and is built on a expansive area with an enormous seating capacity.

It was an unplanned trip, but thanks God, it didn’t rain while we were there. I feel so blessed to have finally attended the healing mass of Father Suarez, the healing priest, I don’t have a critical medical condition nor any of my loved ones and i pray to never have such but still It feels good to hear a very good homily, to hear testimonials how miracles happen. It’s nice that I was able to bring my kids there to cultivate their spirituality. They may not understand it now, but through these trips, i know they will grow to be good Catholics someday.

Afterwards, we had lunch at Josephine’s and were home by five in the afternoon. It wasn’t an ordinary Sunday and glad to have spend it with my mother, husband and kids.

I am delighted that my son is a happy baby. I can see that he has a sunny disposition, he smiles most of the time, but of course he cries and gets fussy at times but nevertheless, i must still say, that NEO is a joyful baby. What made him such a happy baby? i try to have a positive aura, i stay away from negative thoughts and feelings, from people or situation that will make me uncomfortable, thereby preventing baby to be uncomfortable too.
There are ways to calm a crying baby, as a mom of two boys, i am listing here reasons why baby cries aside from wrinkled bedsheet or insect bite:
Hunger - This is actually the first thing i think of when my baby cries. Learning to recognize the signs of hunger will help you start your baby's feedings before the crying stage. Some signs to watch for in newborns: fussing, smacking of lips, rooting (a newborn reflex that causes babies to turn their head toward our hand when you stroke their cheek), and putting their hands to their mouth. Since my son is breastfed, i can feel it too if he’s getting hungry. A dirty diaper – this is the first thing i check if i know he is not hungry. As in my son’s case, he uses only one brand of diaper, huggies. He develops rash on other brands. So my advise would be find a brand that gives comfort to your child.
Wants to be held – I carry my son most of the time, he weighs 7kg now and i am doing so because i know months from now it will not be easy to carry him anymore. It promotes closeness, feeling of security and prevents crying.
Tummy troubles – since my son is breastfed and like what i’ve said, i do carry him most of the time, i don’t have problem with gas/colic. But whenever he needs to burp some more, i place him on his tummy and gently tap his back.
Needs sleep – try to help position your baby, carry or rock him gently.
Too hot or too cold – baby’s clothing is very important, put socks if baby’s feet are cold. This is basic yet often forgotten
Wants less or more stimulation – baby either wants to play with you more or just wants a more calming, quiet environment.
Those are the reasons why my baby cries at the moment, i hope he stays happy and healthy all the time. Happy baby makes me a happy mom.

Classes are suspended again today, i thought i could clean the house and organize the closet but Neo won’t let me move away from him. Today marks his third month on earth and i thank God for giving him to us, he really added joy to our home. This little creature seems to really know me, he would stop crying immediately as soon as i put him in my arms, he would stare at me like i’m the most beautiful and would excitedly move his arms and smile whenever he finds me looking at him. Whenever dad and kuya is playing around, he would stare at his dad as if asking if he could join them. That is Neo at three months.

My sister organized a surprise party for our Lola and glad that it was a success though it was raining the whole afternoon and evening, we still had fun.

The initial plan would be Lola's friends would take her out and bring her to the party venue BUT since her favorite apo(my sister) promised that she will be going to their house to celebrate her birthday, hindi sumama si lola sa kanila. So ate and my husband picked her up around 6pm and brought her to the party venue. Lola had been so lonely the whole morning and afternoon, she had so many children and grandchildren and yet no one has bothered to visit her... that is because everyone's busy preparing for her party.

I have long said goodbye to heels, wedges and stiletto. I still do wear them on rare occasions but it’s really impractical for me to include it in my daily staple since i have two little boys to attend to. I content myself with having flat fashionable shoes, sandals and slippers. I am thankful that the husband understands my need of having topsider even if the only place I go to is my son’s school. So last weekend, we went as far Robinson’s Pampanga to get my topsider, but unfortunately the only boutique that carries the brand just sells topsider for men, and what they have were old old styles and stocks. We also checked SM MOA, but they don’t have the brand that i want. My sister said they have it at SM Manila, and that i have yet to check.

I am very particular with manners, privacy and respect. I get easily turned off with people who doesn’t have manners. Manners simply means a way of acting or behaving. I was raised by strict parents, I actually realized now that they were strict, we were taught basic table manners at a very young age, simple things such as closing mouth while chewing, getting portions that is just enough, not chewing loudly, using serving spoons. We are not allowed to bring our plates and eat at the living room while watching television (we didn’t have a television in our dining room). We couldn’t interrupt when adults are talking, we shall not answer back if we are being reprimanded, we shall pack away our toys, we couldn’t play on the street, we must dress appropriately at all times, otherwise we will not be allowed to leave the house.we can not watch teleseryes, papa would turn off the tv if he sees us watching drama na tagalog, so i was not able to watch yagit and other teleseryes shown until 1990. I remember isang sitsit lang, iiyak na ako agad. Anyway, there are lots of restrictions and only now that i have kids of my own did i realize that they are right. Thanks God they were strict.

When our house had been renovated and we finally had our own rooms, we were taught about privacy. Each of us were given a small space of our own, we cannot just enter each other’s room without knocking, checking each others closet, letters/cards/diaries is not tolerated. We were also taught not to go visiting unless invited. Yes those are just basic, i taught it’s just common sense, but now that i have a preschooler i must teach him all those things. Never enter a room unless invited, sit on a chair, not on the floor, not on the bed, and Never go looking through another person's private possession without their permission, may it be other’s pc, psp, any gadget, closet, toys, even ref. I wish to teach manners and etiquette gracefully but i really don’t know how, oh God, please help me be like my mama.

There are so many values imparted to us, but i guess anywhere we go, if we just bring respect and manners, we would always be welcome

2nd year

Tomorrow, it will be my papa’s 2nd death anniversary. Many have had happened in those two years, we have grieved, mourned and moved on. For those 2 years, i never forgot to pray for his soul, he’s always included in our evening prayers, that’s the most comforting thing to do. There are times when i still wish that my papa is here, there are still moments when i cry because i remember him, but gone were the days when i cry every night. Nathan always remember his lolo , he would always say na mabubuhay si papa ulit, just like Jesus. nakakatawa na nakakaiyak...

Thanks pa for the genes, Neo looks like you, he is so handsome and charming. ... thank you for giving everything i need. Thank you for being with me for 28 years and 7 months. I miss you everyday. I love you! Rest in Peace Pa.

Typical Day of a SAHM

A typical day for me would be waking up by 7 in the morning, prepare coffee, breakfast and my son’s snack for school. Typical morning would be doing all household chores plus bath my kids and then tutor kuya before school service arrives. I do all those things while facebooking and reading blogposts. Since kuya is just 3 yrs and 10 months, we accompany him at school. I usually eat lunch while waiting. Waiting for Nathan’s class to finish is my rest period. I chat with other moms. We talk about anything and everything. In case you’re wondering where my little Neo is, he’s with me. I carry him all the time. But since he’s just 2 months old, he sleeps all the time. He’s pure breastfed, so anytime he feels hungry, all i need to do is sit comfortably and place my nursing cover. Once we’re home, we would take our siesta. Then I would prepare dinner. Daddy would be home, have dinner, then sleep. That’s my typical school day.
My house is a mess most of the time, it’s because i have two little boys at home. My eldest is busy playing pretend all the time. He would build a restaurant, a space ship, a parking lot, a train, a hospital, and i let him do anything he wants. So if you happen to go to our house and find it in a messy state, it means my little boy is happy and enjoying. It’s a mess but not dirty, I always try to make our house dust free, since our unit is small, i use alcohol on the floor, tables, walls, doors. Yes, i alcoholise everything, hoping that somehow, even for a short period our house would be in a clean, orderly state, but if not it really doesn’t matter. Read - HAPPY.
How do I manage a house with 3 boys without any help? EASY, prioritizing and accepting limits. As long as my husband and kids doesn’t wear wrinkled clothes and we eat on time, i am all good.

Nathan and Dad went to the mall to buy school bag. I decided to just stay home with Neo, kuya Nathan's been urging me to join them, he's worried that no one will be looking after us. He finally agreed to go with dad when i assured him that mommy and neo will be okay. I told him that the guards are just outside and i can ask for help if I need any. They arrived after two hours AND he didn't forget to get something for mommy. Thanks Nathan, you're the sweetest!

When papa was still alive, we would always hear joni james et al at our house. But eventhough I never really enjoyed listening to papa’s “sounds” it became part of my system too. I would hum and even sing whenever a familiar song would be played on the radio. For almost two years, we denied ourselves of papa’s sounds, because it will just bring back so many happy memories we chose to bury in our minds. I would always associate papa’s sounds with Sundays, we always have inihaw na baboy with coleslaw for lunch, with papa’s music on the background. Now, when Neo arrived, it is as if papa’s here again... he’s like little emin, he looks like papa and he loves Joni James too.

Dear papa, thank you. We may have stopped doing some of our traditions but we would always remember the lessons behind them, the values you’ve taught us will always be with us. I love you papa, thanks for visiting me always in my dreams. I now have Neo, he may not be as lucky as Nathan for he will never experience to have a lolo like you, but because of him, it’s like you’re here again with us. I miss you forever. Happy Father's Day Papsie!

BIG Brother Moment

We’ve been planning to enrol Nathan before his brother arrives but since we moved to my Mama’s house weeks before my scheduled delivery we were not able to go back to Benedictine International School.

Weeks after i gave birth, we finally managed to schedule him for assessment. Daddy, mommy and baby accompanied him and i was so amazed on how good he is on fixing puzzle. We have puzzles at home, but he didn’t show interest on fixing them, he would put it outside the box, ask me to fix it for him, and then would use the pieces as play money, eventually pieces would be missing, then I’d get tired of packing away so ending would be, mommy throwing his puzzles away. So there, i was awed that he could fix a puzzle so fast. After the puzzle activity, Neo stretched and made a sound, teacher and Nathan got distracted and looked our way. Then Nathan said, “he’s my brother, his name is Neo”.

I actually didn’t see kuya Nathan’s initial reaction when he saw his baby the very first time. But according to his Dad, he wants to carry and kiss his baby. He was full of energy that day, he patiently and excitedly waited for his baby to arrive. We’ve been preparing Nathan on being a kuya eversince we learned that I am pregnant, and that’s few days before his 3rd birthday. The first adjustment made by kuya is mommy can not carry him anymore, we had an arrangement that when the baby arrives I can carry him again, until now i haven’t carried the big brother yet. Second adjustment was, we let him sleep on his own bed. At first i would sleep with him, but being a toddler, he’s more excited on being independent, thus, not letting mommy sleep beside him. Third adjustment happened on Christmas Season, we bought something for Nathan as Christmas gift at Disneyland and since we were so tired, we forgot to keep the Disney bags away, so when he inspected it first thing in the morning, he saw the “gift” and wanted to open it immediately. I told him that it was not for him, it’s for his baby. That day, he learned that he must share with his baby. There are more preparation, we even printed a birth announcement by kuya and made a personalized shirt, but it didn't stop there. No matter how hard we explain and no matter how we prepare kuya, he is not that ready yet. For me, that's normal, acceptance doesn't happen overnight.

I also noticed that kuya suddenly had mouth sores. He had it days before i deliver, i am remembered that it is a manifestation of stress. So we bought a topical gel (rowagel) prescribed by my sister dentist and in just one day, it’s gone. I don’t know what i could do to help kuya accept that he’s no longer a baby, I keep on telling him that mommy loves him even if his baby brother arrives. We even watched a movie (Thor) a day before my scheduled delivery because that's his favorite activity.

Now that Neo is here, Nathan sure does show how mischievous he is, but on the other side, he also became mommy’s assistant. He throws baby’s diaper, would sing to baby, sometimes he would also ask us to keep quiet because his baby is sleeping. He may be naughty at times but i know this has to do with his age too. I know time will come that he will be kuya, neo's bestfriend.

Being a stay at home mom gives me the opportunity to be really hands on to my kids. I am proud that my eldest son, Nathan has been exclusively breastfed for 6 months, i started working when he was six months old, I anticipated that my milk production would decrease and knowing that i won’t be physically available whenever he asks for milk, we introduced formula milk to him, from then on until eight months he’s been on mixed feeding. Then my milk production ceased. Now that i’m into breastfeeding again i want to share some tips on how to increase milk production. My second son is now 3 weeks old, when we weighed him on his 2nd week he already gained 1 kg. I hope to cope and give what he needs.

It is important to be stress free, this greatly affects milk production, try to think of happy thoughts and be on a stress free environment when breastfeeding. Mom should be comfortable, she can have a bath first, massage breast, apply warm compress and drink milk, juice, or water before breastfeeding session. Remember, this is not just a “feeding session” it’s also the best bonding moment between mother and child.

Stress free – each session should ideally be stress free, the baby can feel if mom is relaxed or not.

Position – find the most comfortable position for mommy and baby

Massage – apply warm compress then massage, use the motion when doing self breast exam.

Increase Fluid Intake – drink lots of fluid to keep you hydrated, include soup in every meal, drink lots of juice, milk and water. This does not only help in milk production, it also prevents constipation.

Frequent Feeding – frequency depends on baby’s demand

Nurse Longer - if the baby stops sucking and looks satisfied, that’s the signal for mom to stop.
Burp afterwards.

Diet – Balanced diet is still recommended. I have noticed that I easily get hungry, so in my case, i also eat frequently, small frequent feedings works for me. i think i have already lost the weight i gained during pregnancy.

Vitamins and Herbal Supplement – My Ob-Gyne advised me to continue my iron, calcium and multivitamins. I also take Natalac, a malunggay supplement.

May 2, 2011 changed my life forever, i am now a mother of two healthy boys. The newest addition in our family is Nicholas Jonathan, he weighed 3278 grams and is 49 cm long. He looks like my papa. He has curly hair and fair complexion.

I had CS delivery again, apparently, my husband was also inside the delivery room. he was invited by our sophisticated OB Gyne, Dra Pascua to witness the delivery.

I am just so blessed that Mama can stay with me at the hospital, nothing beats mother's care. Here are some of the pictures:

Simple needs of a new mother

The new mother needs time to heal, rest and bond with her baby. She needs time alone for peace of mind. Her motherly instincts already kicked in while she was pregnant, so she doesn't need to be bombarded with advice or suggestions. What is needed is privacy. She may be uncomfortable with the way she looks, the way her house looks, but that's just part of it, sooner she'll adjust. So please just keep your silence, this is her moment. Be tactful, stop saying nasty things to her, she may look really ugly, but inside she feels beautiful. so let her be. This is HER moment, not yours. She'll ask for help if she needs it, don't fix things for her, she has her way, her OWN way. For now, give her time and space, respect her privacy. Otherwise, she'll shut you out.

Nathan's moving up

School year 2011-2012 is about to begin and i haven’t posted about Nathan’s moving up yet. It was really a success! I am really proud as Nathan was able to deliver his speech with the help of teacher gie of course. My son got the Most OBEDIENT, COOPERATIVE and PRAYERFUL award. He learned so many from Cuddlebees and i am really thankful that he can now interact and socialize with other kids. That’s the main reason why i enrolled him at the age of 2 ½. I am forever grateful to teachers Gie, Annabelle and Blos, Nathan developed so many skills and most importantly he acquired values he can only get from teachers with good heart. We were able to complete the requirements for Nathan’s future school, hopefully we can enrol him after holy week, so i can finally cross it out on my to-do list before giving birth to baby Neo.

Was able to visit Dra Pascua, my ob-gyne last Saturday, I gained 5 lbs again and everything’s good. A month from now, a new addition in our family will finally arrive but i haven’t thought of a name yet, “i” because the daddy wants him to be his junior. I have nothing against my husband, i just want my son to build his own name not just live under his father’s name and be like a shadow. We are so excited, especially Nathan, kuya asked me awhile ago if we could go to the mall, i asked him what are we going to buy? He said, crib for baby, so when baby arrives he’d say, WOW! MAY CRIB NA AKO! I’ll be checking Nathan’s playpen then decide whether to buy a new one or not. I also had my checklist ready, we need to buy so many things for the baby as i have left most of Nathan’s things in dubai and gave away all his small clothes.

Aside from preparing for the baby’s arrival, we need to enrol Nathan now for sy 2011-12.

Pregnancy Update

I am now 7 months pregnant , has gained 31 lbs and has a waistline of 42 inches. I'm getting bigger and heavier each day, last February we were able to know the gender of our baby, and again, it’s a boy. I’ve been really wanting a girl as Nathan is really active and of course having a baby girl is every mother’s dream. But then, it’s God’s gift so I am just as happy. Nathan had been expecting a baby sister too, so i explained to him that he will soon have a baby brother whom he could play and share his toys with, he is so excited!!! I told him, they would play basketball, cars, bike and watch movies together. As early as now, we are preparing Nathan to share his toys to baby andmost importantly to share dad and mom. He would always kiss my tummy and say i love you to his baby. I recently craved for home made polvoron, but ended up eating goldilocks special polvoron which really paled compared to the taste i’m craving for, so i bought the ingredients and tried to make something satisfying, but it’s too laborious for me, thankfully, i don’t crave for polvoron anymore. No more nausea and vomiting. Since i am on my 7th month now, i try to be more careful with my activities. I easily get tired, so i rest most of the time, except on weekends. I had experienced leg and foot cramps too, so i doubled my consumption of milk. My check up is every two weeks now, i wonder how many pounds i gained this time.

Summer Football Center

We enrolled Nathan at Claret’s Football Center, today is the first day and the little boy had been so excited, he couldn’t sleep last night. We enrolled him yesterday, and bought soccer shoes at Trinoma, it’s difficult to get a soccer shoes for him as his size is too big for toddler’s size and too small for boys’ size. We’re glad to finally find one at Toby’s (although it’s a little big) we were also able to get shin guard, but no knee high socks available for kids. We found a plain white knee high socks, only WHITE at landmark department store, I know it is not practical to use white socks while playing soccer so i need to go to SM department store (as advised by one of the parents) to buy colored socks.
It’s good that Nathan has a soccer jersey and socks given by his ninang, as uniforms are only available today, my baby is really so pogi! He participated well considering that he's the smallest on their team and hopefully will be more focused on succeeding trainings. He’d look at me and ask for approval every now and then so I need to stay out of his sight. OF COURSE HE DID SOMETHING that made me laugh again, he dusted off the ball when he picked it up, baket ba ayaw kasi ni mommy ng dirty? I know he’ll get used to it soon.

Bigger School

We are now getting ready for school year 2011-2012. Jon and I are both products of Catholic schools, and we shall do the same with Nathan (and future kids). He misses going to Cuddlebees Schoolhouse and i have to explain that school year 2010-2011 has ended, that’s why they had a moving up ceremony. Moving up means he needs to go to a bigger school and we already scouted for schools in our area, our criteria is simple, it has to be a catholic school and should be very near our place. Hopefully before April ends, Nathan is already enrolled as we will be very busy come May 2011.

While i am doing this post, the little boy gets his bag and said bye mom, I’m going to school now, I asked what the name of his school is, he answered BIGGER SCHOOL! Hahaha!

I am definitely back! Thanks to wi-tribe. There are so many happenings i want to write about. Moving to our new house, the small church near our place, Nathan’s moving up, and of course update on my pregnancy. Now, Daddy and Mommy is busy and excited on finding a new school for Nathan, i think we’ve found the school most suitable not just for Nathan, but for dad, me and baby as well. It’s so near our place, 5 minutes without traffic.

Blessed Sunday

We’ve got nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon, so we went to Holy Cross to visit my papa and afterwards went to Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan.
Although it was drizzling, we were still able to enjoy the four hour trip. Four hour trip here in the Philippines is means the place is not too far. The trip is much better because of NLEX and SCTEX. And what makes the trip essentially better? We were able to receive a blessing.

Today marks nathan’s 40th month. My baby is just three years and four months, but yesterday, i almost cried. He said, “mommy, please buy me pokemon” i asked him why, and he said “kuya na ako, ayaw ko na ng ben10!”. I answered while pretending to cry, Nathan, please don’t say goodbye to ben10 yet.

Saying goodbye to ben 10 means he’s over and done with a stage in his life, probably a stage of being a baby? 4 months ago, he had a ben10 party he so much enjoyed, just this Christmas, he received tons of ben10 stuff because everyone knows he’s a ben10 fanatic, and now, 2nd week of 2011, he’s saying he no longer liked ben10? I am sad, because i really can't deny that soon he won’t allow me to treat him like a baby. BUT NOT YET NOW NATHAN... you’re still my baby.

He didn’t mean what he said yesterday, he woke up wearing his ben10 pajama, still used his ben10 towel, wore his ben10 cap, used his ben10 watch and bag and yes, he still wants dad to buy him a real ben10 car.

Pregnancy Update @ 5 months

I wasn’t able to post about my pregnancy last month. My scheduled check up was 1st week of December, but because of our really busy sched and my OB’s sched too, we were able to visit last week of Dec. I gained 8 lbs and i wasn’t able to measure my waistline, but even so, baby bump is now obvious. I am enjoying every single moment of my pregnancy. I no longer have morning sickness and heartburn. I’ve been wrapping gifts and cooking the whole day of December 24. so on christmas eve, i wasn't feeling well, BUT after throwing up (excuse me this happened before noche Buena), i felt better, and was able to enjoy pamplina, our traditional noche Buena, this time prepared by me because my mom is in the US.

Family Reunion

It’s always fun to see relatives , much fun when we played Pinoy Henyo a popular game from a noontime show EAT BULAGA.

It was a fun filled day, we stayed from lunch til dinner, the kids’ spirits were so high, they played until after dinner.

It could have been happier if we were complete. We missed those who were not there, those in the province, abroad and of course those who already joined our creator.

Children draw families together. They give us all an excuse to gather for holidays . Family reunion not only become more important, they become more fun. Let kids act like kdis, stop meddling when they fight, soon they’ll be grown ups and forget the “fighting part” they will only remember the good times. We’ve all been through that stage when we fight with our siblings, cousins and playmates, but now we only laugh when we recall those incidents, that is because our parents didn’t meddle and didn’t make an issue out of it, they didn’t say names to hurt us and allowed us to resolve it on our own. Look at us now, we are all happy adults.

We had an impromptu trip to Tagaytay. Could this be a sign that we’ll be having impromptu trips the whole year? I really hope so! It’s windy when we got there, ang lamiggg!!! We were there at lunch time.

After enjoying crispy pata, we went straight to Our Lady of Lourdes Church. After mass, we bought kesong puti and tarts and went home. I am so grateful that Nathan has never been a travelling terror but a fellow adventurer.

What happened to us on 2010?

January – Nathan welcomed 2010 with an asthma, he’d been nebulizing, but still in high spirits, after2 days of resting we went to tagaytay with friends. Blessed.

February – My little boy had been hospitalized, from then on, i panic whenever he has an attack. Still blessed as Jonathan started the project at Newport and Mckinley.
March-We enrolled Nathan at playschool in Cubao and had a chance to go to Fontana, Clark. So many blessing!

April-Nathan enrolled at swimming camp at Quezon City Sports Club, went to laiya, batangas with Santiago Family, SIL graduated at Med school with honors. Blessed.

May – summer outing with waterzone’s employees. IT was simple and fun. Nathan said goodbye to nappies. Jonathan finally finished a project for parking system at Newport City and Piazza Venezia. Countless blessings.

June – a milestone for Nathan again, as he enrolled at cuddlebees schoolhouse for sy 2010-2011. Truly blessed.
July- we got our pick-up just in time for my sister’s arrival. papa’s 1st death anniversary and babang luksa. celebrated cassey’s 1st birthday and wedding of my bestfriend in HS. countless blessings.

August-what did i get myself into? We travelled to Vigan and Laoag not knowing that i am weeks pregnant. TRULY BLESSED

September – my Nathan’s 3rd birthday, yes my little boy just turned THREE. Such a baby, but sometimes we forgot that he is still 3 and treat him like an adult. I learned that i am pregnant and countless blessings.

October -Celebrated 10-10-10 at Josephine’s tagaytay. Nathan attended halloween party as spiderman. Did I say We are blessed? :)

November-cooked pansit bihon for the very first time on Nov 3 for papa's birthday. celebrated Jonathan’s birthday, countless blessings

December-celebrated my birthday and our anniversary at HK, got a really nice gift for my birthday, jonathan bought something really nice for himself (and us na nga din). Cooked pamplina for the first time, Nathan had so many BEN10 gifts. Endless blessings.

Thanks be to God for a wonderful 2010, we’ve had so many lessons and triumphs because of Him. 2010 brought so many blessings, with perseverance, hard work and humility i know we will be more blessed by 2011.

Just yesterday i delivered three good news to my mama. But that i won't divulge here. Anyway, i'm glad that i can call mama anytime just to share whatever good news i have. It's nice to have someone who'd be happy for your accomplishments, or anything that makes you happy.

Few days from now, it will be 2011, and i learned a great lesson this year and that is to stay away from negative/pessimistic people. When you feel that someone's pulling you down, step back and stay as far as you can. Don't say anything, just stay away. Then, you'll realize it's the best decision you've ever made.

Gold as present

Buy gold coins as christmas present? Why not! the three kings gave Jesus a Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, remember. Giving gold as present is a very good idea, it's timeless and so precious. As a birthday present years ago, papa gave me a white gold set, he was hesitant at first as he thought i might not like it. Who wouldn't like a present? especially something wrapped in a small package with great value? and aside from that, i know he really prepared for it, the design, and of course the cost. :) Thanks papa, for investing on your present for me.

Now, buy something that will last long, papa is not here anymore, but i will always remember him because of the special gift he gave me years ago.

Christmas Feel

Christmas is here, advent season started two sundays ago. Even before advent season began, i already taught dear Nathan christmas carols, i also told him the story of Nativity. So now, he knows that during Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

We were able to put our christmas decors last week, it was fun yet more tiring, because Nathan runs all over the house, i asked him to sleep, and when he woke up, the tree is up and the lights are on.

He was so happy, especially when i turned on the light at santa claus' house.

Corporate giveaways

It's already 2nd of December but we haven't ordered corporate giveaways yet, we were able to order for wall calendars for waterzone, but still i need to order eco bags for clothes@work, i hope i could also find perzonalized journal/planner or desk calendar supplier for ezsistemo. Otherwise, they will need to order tons of cake/ham for their clients, and that would be more expensive.

Journals/planners suddenly became old fashioned because of our technology today, we can save important dates on our mobile phone and almost everybody have their own laptop, but for someone like me who relied on her "gadgets" so much, and got disappointed when all of a sudden all the files disappeared, a journal/planner is much much better. When I saw my 1997 planner, i can't help but smile, it brought back so many happy memories, whatever gadget you've used during that time, i'm sure you've already lost it. So by 2011, i'll be old fashioned again. :)

Today, CHRISTMAS officially starts! During this time, many have already decorated their homes and are usually brightly lighted with christmas lanterns! I am excited because now Nathan truly knows Santa Claus, he can sing Santa Claus is coming to town and he was also able to make a letter to Santa. He's so into Ben10, and as expected he asked Santa to give him a Ben10 jacket. I hope Santa could find one. :) Christmas is already here and I am happy to receive my first christmas gift today. :)

Birthdays are celebrated each year for us to thank those who made our existence possible. For us Catholics, it is important to attend mass, to give thanks for the life we have and also to receive grace. For us Filipinos, it is usually celebrated with family and friends over pansit or any noodles that signifies long life, cake and any specialty dish and of course there's drinking and videoke.

Birthday is indeed a very special day, it comes once a year, so don't be bothered about how many made an effort to make you feel special, the food, the gifts, just be happy that another year is given and most importantly be thankful that God has given you so many blessings... exactly at the right time.

Answered Prayer

Prayers are answered in different forms, my lola always tell me about this. It comes in 4 D's. Delivered, Delayed, Different and Denied. When you pray for something and it is given exactly as how you wished it to be, it is DELIVERED. Sometimes, God allows us to develop patience, to learn more and wait, and then after some time he gives what we want, that is called DELAYED. When we ask for something and God sees that it is really not what we need, he answers us differently, maybe we are asking for a good yaya that will look after our children, but then he allowed us to be jobless, in that way, he answered our prayer DIFFERENTly, there's no other person who could look after her children the best except for their mother. And of course not all prayers granted, if God sees that it is not best for you, no matter how long you wait, how hard you pray, it will never be given, that is why it is called DENIED.

Always remember, all prayers are answered even if not granted.

I have been thinking about investing on gold lately, and of course on everything i seek guidance from above, even if it's as simple as to buy gold. While getting more information about it at http://www.usgoldbureau.com/ and consulting the professionals there, I match it with the best tool i know, that is prayer. soon i know i'll have an answered prayer regarding this matter.

Last Friday we were suppose to go to Trinoma to watch Amnesia Girl, but due to business-work-related matters, Jon has to stay late at his office, so i made sure the following day that we see the movie. We thought it's a tagalog version of 50 first dates, but yes we are so wrong!

Just watching those two together would make you smile, even if it's the corniest movie ever. Jonathan, was able to get some line there, and it really made me laugh...

Over breakfast on Saturday Morning, he said, may MMDA ba dito? sabi ko, BAKET? (weird kse, ang aga aga, yon ang itatanong) sabi niya, NAGKABANGGAAN KSE ANG PUSO NATIN! if that line has ever been delivered to you out of nowhere, matatawa ka talaga, corny sa pinakacorny, pero nakakatawa pa din. :)

It's been that long since papa passed away, but whenever i think about his last hours, it still brings back so much pain. I have coped, and was able to accept that papa's mission on earth has already been accomplished, but of course i still miss him, especially on special ocassions and now that i am going to have another baby soon. When I was preganant with Nathan, i went home from Dubai and stayed not just at my parents' house but at my parents' room. I had my own bed beside their bed. Papa and I would sometimes wake in the middle of the night to have a snack, would both sit at the edge of the bed because we were both having leg cramps. He'd always ask if Jonathan's alright after our phone conversation at night. He'd remind to read books to my baby and always think of happy thoughts. Just recently i learned that when i gave birth, he treated our first visitors to dinner. Thanks pa. Eto na, may kasunod na si Nathan, i know tumatawa ka ng malakas nung nalaman na buntis na ako ulit. I miss you!

He's tall at 103 cms. I wasn't able to weigh him, but early this month, when we went to his pedia's clinic, he gained 6 lbs from our previous visit that happend a month ago. Super Likot yet with just one kiss, ok na agad. He says Bless you when somebody sneezes, when someone speaks bad, he says, not good manners, nagugulat talaga ako sa kanya. When i speak with his dad in a loud voice to emphasize my point, he says, mommy, wag away daddy, say sorry. He would always tell that he'll buy me and baby a hetty laptop, dora and hello kitty stuff. Yes, he's very thoughtful, whenever i share something with him, he would always ask me to keep some for his dad.

Last week, he sang Santa Claus is coming to town to my mama on the phone, i coached him to say namamasko po!, he said Nama, mama, pasko na po! super cute!

My baby is now 38 months old, he would always correct me when i call him baby, kuya na ako mommy.

Nathan is so fond of hotels, he can appreciate nice, elegant interiors as if he's used on being there. I remember when he was just 2 years old and we checked in it at a hotel, he said he wanted to live and stay there. I think that's so typical with that age group, the dream of fantasy land.

Back to the seven star hotel, he's so amazed to learn that the one he was seeing was actually a hotel that looks like a sail boat. When he learned that he has a picture with the hotel, he said HO-TEL? We said, yes, on the background, we told him of course that we didn't stay at Burj Al Arab, because it is really expensive.

I hope when our new baby comes, we can go back there, to visit our friends.

Learning

Each pregnancy is a new experience, so better enjoy each to the fullest. On my first pregnancy i have never experienced heartburn, just nausea and vomiting or morning sickness and contractions as early as my first trimester. Now, i don't feel too nauseous anymore, probably because i stopped taking my vitamins, well i just compensate by consuming folic acid rich foods. and of course healthy meals.
I am also learning to cook, because i try to stay away from fast foods and restaurants. From doing so, i am sure on what I take. I am avoiding food that may cause heartburn and of course cooking and preparing our own food means more savings. :)

november check up

I wasn't able to visit my OB-Gyne last saturday for my monthly check up, and glad that i was yesterday, even if I waited for almost two hours. Dra Pascua came all the way from her Taguig Clinic and she looks so gorgeous with her venus cut dress and i think 5" heels. It's nice to have an OB like her, so arte!
Upon entering her clinic, she immediately thanked me for waiting. I told her about (dis)comforts i have been feeling lately and she prescribed meds and different set of vitamins. The best part of this visit is i was able to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time! Dad and kuya wasn't able to hear our baby's heartbeat because they arrived just after my check up. Kuya said, next time mommy!
i now weigh 122 lbs. And my waistline is 33 inches.

Sweet Dreams

Lately I have been dreaming about my papa.
The first dream was, he's smiling at me while watching me eat, as if telling me to eat some more, then when it's time for me to go down, he said he took some of my money left on the table and gave it to my youngest sister, i said okay. This is typically my papa, he loves to watch me eat because i have a very good appetite. and of course always looking after my youngest sister, and he would give her money all the time, he would make sure that shanine always have extra money aside from her allowance.
My second dream: i heard mass, after kissing mama, i saw papa on their bed, i immediately went inside the room and kissed him, i said, papa, andito ka lang pala!
My third dream, we are going somewhere, then we were all inside a coaster van, i was seated on the back row, when we reach the mall, i excitedly stood up, then papa assisted me because i'm losing my balance.
I hope to see you always in my dreams papa. I miss you! I love you! Thank you.

Trick or Treat 2010

I have been wanting to make a genie costume for Nathan, but he slumped on the floor and cried when he heard me telling my mama about it.

Kids nowadays have a say on everything, on every little detail that is, unlike during our times (this makes me feel so old) when we need to follow everything our parents say, we have to wear anything they want us to. As someone who's been asked to wear elaborate gown-like-dress, weird and uncomfortable costumes that looks really nice but really made me frown while at it, i learned and just follow what nathan wants.

He wanted to be a superhero, so we ended up buying him a superhero costume that is...

SPIDERMAN!

But then, buying ready made costumes made me realize how much effort and time, my mama and probably papa spend on making each one of us a costume. It's not easy i know, but i'm sure they had so much fun. Probably they've been happier if we wore the costumes with a smile.

Today we are celebrating two birthdays in the family, my sister and only brother’s birthday! My sister who’s based in NJ is celebrating here with us now after four years, while my brother is at Seattle, celebrating his special day with his family. Traditionally we always have two cakes on this day, one for my ate and one for my kuya, but five years ago, we were not able to buy even a single cake, we were used on everybody buying cake for them, so we assumed that someone would definitely bring a cake, but we were wrong, everyone assumed the same thing. We thought it was just okay, but then my brother had been so sad, he said in his entire life, that’s the only time he celebrated his birthday without a cake, from them on, we learned our lesson, we always buy cake during birthdays even if it means we might have more than one cake, we can always share it with our neighbors anyway. :-)

8th Week of Pregnancy

I was able to see the baby inside me now, the image is so clear and i was also able to see the heartbeat. Everything is great though i have morning sickness and feels nauseous every time i see dark colored clothes and smell floral scented shampoo, soap and lotion.

Now I always crave for chocolates, cake and sashimi.

Hopefully, this morning sickness will stop at the end of trimester.

Weeks before I learned that i am pregnant, i was given a chance to bond with Nathan, i was actually 2 weeks pregnant when we went to Ilocos sans dad. It was a tiring yet super fun trip. And best of all, Nathan had me all by himself. We were able to visit Paoay Chuch and more old churches, Baluarte and Burgos Museum.

Nathan is fascinated with coins, he would throw it up in the air, on the stairs or straight to the trash bin. To teach him the value of coins, i bought a piggy bank and showed him where coins should be placed. While doing so i am also telling him that those coins are intended to buy milk. In his age, milk is the necessity he can't live without. So now, he knows that coins are not toys. Whenever i got coins, i encourage him to put it inside the piggy bank, this does not only promote virtue of saving but also develops his fine motor and counting skills. Through this all, don't forget that toddlers are prone to accidents, so always be alert as they may put it inside their mouth. Choking hazard it is, even if they're gold coins.

missing baby Nathan

Since September 5, Nathan hadn't been sleeping with us. So when i told him that i miss him so much and asked him to sleep beside me, i expected him to get excited and oblige immediately, but sabi niya, okay lang yon mommy! Oh my, my baby has grown up already, he doesn't want to sleep beside me on our bed, but i could sleep beside him. So when we had our afternoon nap today and my baby slept beside me, niyakap ko talaga!

My OB Gynecologist warned me not to take any meds not prescribed by her. Being pregnant means I have to be extra careful on what I take as everything will have an effect with my growing baby.

I've been reading about healthy and safe pregnancy when I saw Accutane. Accutane is a medication primarily prescribed for treatment of severe acne. those who are pregnant are not allowed to take this med as it's been shown to cause severe birth defects, including mental retardation and visual or auditory impairment, and it may result in death. I have also read that Accutane Lawsuit had been filed to a certain Pharmaceutical Company due to adverse reactions to accutane including but not limited to Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease, and because of the numerous lawsuits, this pharma company pulled accutane from the market.

I am blessed that I am healthy and not taking any medication.

6th week of Pregnancy

I had my first prenatal check up just before my 6th week of pregnancy, I again visited Dra Pascua at SLMC, She discussed whats happening inside me, the usual symptoms that i'll be feeling. Afterwards, she precribed folic acid, and advised me that i could still do my daily activities. I am asked to go back after two weeks.

My baby is now THREE YEARS OLD!

We attended a 5oth wedding anniversary at Makati and was able to make it at home just in time to surprise the little pogi boy!

I wasn't able to buy a pandesal, so jonathan and i agreed to just let nathan blow a candle on a cupcake

But hey, Tata Shanine loves Nathan so much, when we arrived she already prepared a special cupcake for Nathan

So we all sang Happy Birthday to Nathan

And he woke up just to blow his candle

Super HAPPY

After being delayed for 2 days, i decided to buy a pregnancy test kit. It's September 8, and only Nathan and I went to church as Jonathan still has work. We arrived 30 minutes earlier before the mass starts, and since Mercury drug is just across the church, i decided to buy PT kit and some vitamins first. I was so nervous, yet very positive. Ate Joanne and her family attended the 6:30 pm mass too, when Athena saw the plastic bag, she asked me what's inside, i just told her it's vitamins. i didn't want anyone to know that i am doing the test.

After the mass, Nathan and I went home immediately. i let him stay at the sala to watch tv, and mixed milk for him so i could do the test.

It's already 7:37, i've been closely monitoring the time because we shall be going to our friend's birthday party.

i've been laughing uncontrollably as i see the two lines appear, then i immediately went to mama's room and let them see the kit! we are all screaming!!! very happy. Even Nathan is so happy, he's going to be a kuya soon.

I waited for Jonathan to arrive before announcing the good news, and he can't really believe what he was seeing.

Thanks be to God. We are going to have a new baby soon

baby cassey

Nathan is so happy to play with cassey, he goes inside the playpen too. he would now refer to himself as kuya, and his baby is cassey. But they are not always sweet like that, they usually shout at each other, everytime nathan would try to kiss cassey, cassey would hit him on the face, nathan on the other hand throws things to cassey, or hit her on the face too.

But even if they are like that, i know they will outgrow those things and eventually be buddy buddy. I hope Nathan would really act like a kuya someday, i hope he would look after Cassey and other girl cousins.

the last time my sister went home was 3 years ago, she wasn't able to go home when our papa passed away last year. Papa passed away a week after ate gave birth. Now, Ate didn't inform anyone except jon that kuya is arriving with them. Nagulat talaga lahat, especially his mom. Everybody's so happy to see kuya arnold again. It's also the first time we can carry and kiss little cassey kaya we are all so excited. Ate naman has mixed emotions, of course papa's not here anymore. Iba talaga but we are glad that they are home.

lola beth turned 87 last july 9. we were suppose to give her a surprise party but the day before her birthday she mentioned to me that she knows about it. kids at cuddlebees serenaded lola, after singing the birthday song, each one of them handed a balloon to lola, they are all so cute, we had simple lunch and sumptuous dinner.
