Cheers to breastfeeding moms!

Presidential Proclamation No. 1113 has declared the month of August to be celebrated as National Breastfeeding Month. In line with this, I want to share the benefits of BREASTFEEDING as what I learned from Nursing school.

Best for baby
Reduces incidence of allergies
Economical
Antibodies – greater immunity to infections
Stool inoffensive
Temperature always correct and constant
Fresh milk
Emotional bonding
Easy once established
Digested easily
Immediately available
Nutritionally balanced
Gastroenteritis greatly reduced

The most stupid remark I got while breastfeeding my second son “i pity you, you don’t have money to buy formula milk”. I totally ignored her because i know my BREASTMILK is the best gift I can give to my son, and it is priceless.
