Buwan ng Wika

Last January 15, 1997, Pres. Fidel V. Ramos issued Proclamation No. 1041 declaring the whole month of August as “Buwan ng Wika”. Since then, It became a tradition at schools and offices to wear Filipiniana during August.

In celebration of Buwan ng Wika, preschool students of Benedicitine International School were asked to wear Filipino costumes.

Language is not just a tool for expression of thoughts and ideas but it is also a representation of society. It gives identity, ‘di ba Kabayan?

Aw, those Filipino costumes are cute. Pinoy na pinoy talaga dating ng mga bata.
